The Guardian Giant
I made this illustration to represent Yaksa, the demon guardian of the Thai culture. In Thai culture Yaksas, old and ugly figures are represented as familiar symbols for people and even for children. They are important element of architecture and art, today they can be found in all the main entrance of the Buddhist Temples.
